DOGS/CATS WITH SEVERELY AGGRESSIVE TEMPERAMENTS
For your pets safety and the well being of your groomer, severely aggressive pets are better off being serviced by a vet with medication under the supervision of trained medical staff
DOGS/CATS THAT REQUIRE EXTENSIVE DEMATTING
Dematting is available for pets that have approximately 25 percent matting on the coat only. Coats that have more than light matting will be recommended for a “fresh start haircut” which involves shaving the coat to allow for the hair to regrow properly without breakage or damage to the coat. This is done for the comfort of your pet along with preventing damage to the coat to prevent matting from reestablishing itself in the damaged fur.
DOGS OVER 40 POUNDS
Due to the size and energy availability of the unit we do not have the capacity to take very large or giant breeds. This includes pure and mixed breeds of the following …****Newfoundlands,
Wolfhounds, Malamutes/Huskies, Great Pyrenees, Giant Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Danes and Extra Large Doodles. ***Doodles will be evaluated on a case by case basis as the size and coat of this breed is varied. Pictures and weight may be requested to evaluate appointment availability .
LATE/CANCELED APPOINTMENTS
Canceled appointments must be made within 24 hours and will be charged for the appointment scheduled if not within the 24-hour time window. Late appointments are given a 15-minute window. Anything past 15 minutes will be considered a canceled appointment and charged as a no-show/cancellation. Late appointments past the 15-minute window will need to be rescheduled and will incur the fee of the canceled appointment in addition to the cost of the groom at the rescheduled time.
